BASKETBALL CAMP
It’s time to Rise Up and learn some new basketball skills! Receive coaching from Alma
College coaches and players, June 8-10 and experience how combining dedication to
yourself -and to your faith- can be fun and impactful!
Cost
For 3 days of camp, the cost is $25 per child, which includes a basketball to keep and a
swag item.

Grade Eligibility
Any child who will complete 1st – 6th grade at the end of this current 25/26 school year.
Time slots
1st – 3rd graders: 9 AM – 11 AM
4th – 6th graders: 12 PM – 2 PM
WOODWORKING
It is time to Rise Up and get creative with our hands-on woodworking camp! Led by the
highly trained Phil Maxwell, kids will learn the fundamentals of woodworking while
crafting a keepsake to take home. As they measure, cut, and assemble, they’ll discover
how God’s creativity is reflected in their own ability to build and create.
Cost: $20 for 2 days “both days are required for camp”
Dates: June 15 & June 16
Grade Eligibility
Kids who will complete Kindergarten – 8th grade at the end of this current 25/26 school
year.
Time slots:
K-4 grade: AM session – 9:00 – 11:00
5-8 grade: PM session – 1:00 – 3:00
FOOTBALL CLINIC WITH THE SCOTS
It’s time to Rise Up and Train with the Scots during our Football Clinic! Score a
touchdown with this youth football clinic, held on the campus of Alma College and led
by Alma College’s Assistant Head Coach Ryan Ettinger.
Cost: $10
Date: June 17
Grade Eligibility
Kids who will complete Kindergarten through 8th grade at the end of this 25/26 school
year.
Time: K-8 | 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Location: Alma College | Bahlke Field
PLANT, GROW, EAT!
Join us for Rise Up: Plant, Grow, Eat!, a session where kids will get their hands dirty and
their curiosity growing! During this time, kids will learn how to plant, care for, and grow
herbs—while discovering that these same skills can be used for flowers, vegetables, and
more.
Led in partnership with Jessica Young from Artesian Well, kids will also get a taste of
how growing connects to real food—fresh, local, and right here in Michigan.
Each child will plant their own herbs to take home, along with the confidence to keep
growing!
Plant the seed (yep, we went there)… and watch what grows!

Musical Theater Improv Workshop
Looking for a fun, high-energy way to help your child grow?
Join experienced music and theater educators Liz Loyselle and Margaret Metcalf for an
engaging Musical Theatre experience where kids will sing, move, act, and come out of
their shells!
Throughout the session, kids will learn a song and a short dance while exploring the
basics of performance in a fun and encouraging environment. The experience will wrap
up with a simple showcase, giving them a chance to share what they’ve learned and
shine in front of others.
Along the way, your child will:
– Boost confidence and self-esteem
– Build collaboration and teamwork skills
– Strengthen communication and active listening
– Develop quick thinking and stage presence
– Unleash creativity and imagination
It’s more than just performing—it’s a chance for kids to grow, connect, and have an
unforgettable time!
